SwingJuice

Part of Pavingyourownfuture is finding those passions in life that allow you to truly exhibit your talent. For the last couple of months I have had a chance to work with Jon Mason, Founder and CEO of SwingJuice hybrid/energy drink. Jon, has been building the distrubution and brand of SwingJuice for the last several years, and you can read more about his beginnings at www.swingjuice.com. My gravitation to SwingJuice is based around two factors, 1. a love for golf, and 2. the belief that this is a truly great product. SwingJuice is not only a golfers drink, but a hybrid energy drink. From golf, hockey, tennis and lifestyle SwingJuice provides something for you. My blog teaches about and points people in the direction of sites that help with financial matters, so you ask why would I blog about SwingJuice... SwingJuice in essence is why I started this blog, I am interested in the American Economy and what makes Capitalism great. SwingJuice is that growing company that everybody roots for. SwingJuice has taken a tremendous grassroots approach to building their brand, and now have fan sites on facebook, twitter, myspace, and a subscriber section their website. I truly like this approach because it allows those people that matter, the purchasers of the product to have easy access to commenting on the brand. SwingJuice has also just been named a partner of Hockey East arguable the most competitive hockey league in division one. It seems to me that SwingJuice is well on its way to becoming this bloggers favorite drink... Please check back as I continue to follow SwingJuice as they grow.

About the blog and myself

What can I tell you about myself and the blog. First, I have stresses like everyone else, I am continuously working hard to conserve my funds, while also taking time to enjoy life. After spending my entire childhood and college years in Maine, I moved to Connecticut to pursue my career. I went to Sanford High School and Bowdoin College (both in Maine). Both of these schools taught me a lot but there was one critical element missing from my education. How was I going to save, what was I going to save for and what financial tools should I utilize??? My goal with this blog is to give students and young professionals the upper hand in preparing for their financial future. There is a huge disconnect regarding how we teach "older professionals" to invest as opposed to "younger professionals". Hopefully this blog is able to confront that disconnect and provide a guide to investing, home buying and some of the other financial walls that spring up around "young professionals". For all of my readers please feel free to add posts and to ask questions. Also check out my store, which has some great books and practical business products. Happy Viewing!!
